Abstract:
This study aimed at investigating Saudi preparatory year students' attitudes towards EFL writing course at Najran university. This study was designed as a descriptive study. The instrument used to collect the data was a questionnaire. From the total population, the researcher did systematic random sampling to take the sample. The participants of the study were (300) preparatory year students at Najran university. The results of the study revealed that the students had positive attitude towards EFL writing course. They also showed that the attitudes of male preparatory year students towards EFL writing course are slightly higher than that of female ones. The students view writing as a useful course for their future academic endeavors.
